so there's this village outside my giant, high-class international school, where people live off about, our lunch money.
it's the kind of almost historical china that's harder and harder to find. more importantly, it's a fulcrum of people's lives.

stopping myself before i start sounding preachy. not that the development of china isn't great for the country, but there's two sides to everything. i think it's really sad how some people have to be stepped on for progress to happen.

just something i've been chewing on for a while. one day i'll try to post a journal that isn't utterly downcast.
